    Earthquake-Resistant DI Pipe, R.J. Pipe

    Reliable Investment

R.J.Pipe is an advanced design of Push-in flexible restrained Joint that its locking system prevents from pipe separation during earthquake or subsidence. Notably, increased safety in water supply networks and a significant reduction in water loss are among the most important advantages of using these pipes.

The use of restrained fittings ensures pipeline integrity and helps distribute stress and strain among the various pipeline components. A key feature of this connection type is the ease of assembly and disassembly, eliminating the need for nuts and bolts.

    Standards

    • Ductile iron pipe is designed in accordance with ISO 16134, and the connection is tested according to ISO 10804.
    • External coatings are applied per ISO 8179, and internal linings follow ISO 4179 and EN 598.
    • The rubber gasket sealing is similar to the Tyton joint and complies with ISO 4633 and EN 681 standards.

    Applications

    • Suitable for seismic zones and unstable soils, without the need for concrete blocks at the joint.
    • Ideal for trenchless application systems, especially horizontal directional drilling.

    Advantages

    • Allows for axial displacement and angular deflection with complete sealing
    • Quick and easy installation without bolts or nuts
    • High resistance to hydraulic forces

All dimensions, except for pipe length, are in millimeters and weights are in kilograms. Dimensions and weights are provided without considering tolerances. All weights are calculated based on the preferred pressure class. For non-preferred pressure classes, please contact Hanyco technical experts. Cement thickness for various sizes is similar to that of Push-on joint (Tyton) pipes.
