    Q.R. Flex

    Q.R. Flex is Hanyco’s latest product—a flexible, restrained pressure joint that requires an assembly force similar to a Tyton joint, making installation very easy. One of its unique features is its ability to accommodate both angular deflection and axial movement.

    Q.R. Flex uses a standard Tyton gasket for sealing, which makes installation significantly easier and faster. A ductile iron locking ring, inserted through a slot in the bell surface, creates a positive axial lock between the bell’s inner surface and a retaining weld at the pipe spigot end.

    The robust Q.R. Flex joint forms a chain-like structure along the pipeline, enabling the distribution of forces generated at various points along the line.

    Standards

    • Q.R. Flex is designed in accordance with ISO 16134, and its performance testing follows ISO 10804.
    • External coatings comply with ISO 8179, and the internal lining follows ISO 4179 and EN 598.
    • Q.R. Flex is manufactured according to ISO 2531 and EN 545.
    • The sealing gasket is similar to a Tyton joint gasket and complies with ISO 4633 and EN 681.

    • Suitable for all types of soil and ground, especially in unstable or marshy areas.
    • Ideal for locations where installing restrained concrete blocks is not possible.
    • Perfect for trenchless drilling systems, particularly directional horizontal drilling.
