Q.R. Flex is Hanyco’s latest product—a flexible, restrained pressure joint that requires an assembly force similar to a Tyton joint, making installation very easy. One of its unique features is its ability to accommodate both angular deflection and axial movement.
Q.R. Flex uses a standard Tyton gasket for sealing, which makes installation significantly easier and faster. A ductile iron locking ring, inserted through a slot in the bell surface, creates a positive axial lock between the bell’s inner surface and a retaining weld at the pipe spigot end.
The robust Q.R. Flex joint forms a chain-like structure along the pipeline, enabling the distribution of forces generated at various points along the line.
