    Wafer Type Butterfly Valves

Hamoun Nyzeh Company (HANYCO), a leading manufacturer of ductile iron pipes and fittings, specializes in producing and supplying pipes and fittings for water and wastewater projects, with diameters ranging from DN80 to DN900 mm and a nominal production capacity of 100,000 tons per year. Hanyco's latest product is the ductile iron wafer butterfly valve, featuring the following specifications and manufactured using the "Lost Foam Casting" process on a fully automated production line.

    Applications of Wafer Butterfly Valves

The Hanyco butterfly valve is suitable for a wide range of applications, including raw, cooling, and potable water up to 120°C, as well as air conditioning systems for isolating or regulating water flow. With various material options for the disc and valve seal, specific application requirements can be easily accommodated. These valves are available in nominal sizes from DN50 to DN200, with a working pressure of 10/16 bar. Butterfly valves should not be used as flow controllers in transmission lines; they must be either fully open or fully closed. The valve design ensures the disc is perfectly centered in the open position, providing optimal flow conditions with minimal pressure drop. This valve is suitable for installation between flanges compliant with DIN EN 1092-2 and can operate at pressures up to 16 bar.
