Hamoun Nyzeh Company (HANYCO), a manufacturer of ductile iron pipes and fittings, specializes in producing and supplying pipes and fittings for water and wastewater projects, ranging from DN 80 to DN 1200 (mm), with a nominal production capacity of 120,000 tons per year. HANYCO's latest product is the ductile iron resilient wedge gate valve, featuring the following specifications and manufactured using the "Lost Foam Casting" process on a fully automated production line.

Applications of Resilient Wedge Gate Valves

The HANYCO butterfly valve is suitable for a wide range of applications, including raw, cooling, and drinking water up to 120°C, as well as air conditioning systems for isolating or regulating water flow. Thanks to the various material options for the disc and valve sealing, specific application requirements can be met without difficulty. The valves are available in nominal sizes from DN50 to DN200, with a working pressure of 10/16 bar. Butterfly valves should not be used as flow controllers in transmission lines; they must be either fully open or fully closed. The valve is designed so that the disc is positioned centrally when open, ensuring optimal flow conditions with minimal pressure drop. This valve is suitable for installation between flanges prepared according to DIN EN 1092-2 and for operating pressures up to 16 bar.

All internal and external surfaces of the valve body are coated with pure epoxy resin applied electrostatically (RAL 5005 or RAL 5015), with a minimum layer thickness of 250 microns and certified by reputable international organizations for use in drinking water.
